Where this goes

Roadmap.

VoidCoin's long-term thesis: when quantum computers become cryptographically relevant, holders who moved early are safe. Everything here builds toward that.

PHASE 1
Complete

Foundation

  • Genesis block mined, no premine, no dev fund
  • SHA256d proof of work live on mainnet
  • Qt wallet for Windows and Linux
  • Native P2QR quantum-resistant addresses
  • Block explorer with full chain history and miner attribution
PHASE 2
In progress

Network growth

  • Additional seed nodes for faster peer discovery
  • Mobile wallet
  • Exchange listings
  • Expanded pool support
PHASE 3
Planned

Quantum hardening

  • P2QR addresses as the default everywhere, not just the wallet
  • Legacy-to-quantum key migration tooling
  • Published whitepaper on the P2QR signature scheme
PHASE 4
Planned

Smart features

  • Atomic swaps with other SHA256d chains
  • Multi-signature P2QR wallets
  • Hardware wallet support

Why quantum resistance, now

Most cryptocurrencies rely on ECDSA signatures that a sufficiently powerful quantum computer could break. VoidCoin's P2QR addresses are designed to resist that — built in from genesis, not bolted on after the threat is real.
